Turkish Airlines introduces campaign to offer tickets to all healthcare workers across the globe at a discounted rate of 40 per cent. By Tanvi Jain

Turkish Airlines has started a new campaign for healthcare workers, who are working selflessly to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, where the company is providing them 40 per cent discount on tickets purchased from Turkish Airlines’ webpage or mobile application. 

“We are forever thankful to healthcare workers! Now it’s time to enjoy the privileges of flying with 40% discount for healthcare workers and their loved ones,” the airlines tweeted. 

The offer is valid for all flights under the airlines, and the tickets can be purchased at discounted rates by all the healthcare workers and three people travelling with them. 

Healthcare workers who wish to join the campaign must apply at the campaign page at the Turkish Airlines website until July 18The applicants will have the advantage of flying at a 40 per cent discount between June 6, 2020, to May 31, 2021, provided they purchased the ticket between June 6 to August 1.

To avail the benefits of the campaign the healthcare workers need to first register to be a Miles&Smiles member, then click on ‘Register to Campaign’ button and tick the New Feedback option at the bottom of the page they are directed to. At the bottom of this section is ‘Exclusive for Healthcare Professionals‘ button through which one can reach the registration form. After that, all they need to do is enter their details on the registration form and upload their healthcare professional ID card to the system, and within five days after the approvalthe promo code is sent to the e-mail Id registered to the Miles&Smiles membership account. The discount is applied on the purchased ticket during the payment process by entering the promo code in the related section. 

However, the codes will be distributed only up to a limit of 1,00,000 miles, and the discount will not be applicable to taxes and charges.
