During the last two weekends of July (Fri, 19 July 2019 – Sun, 28 July 2019) a music festival that makes the grounds reverberate takes place, the tickets to which sell out months in advance, and within minutes. This one is called Tomorrowland. By Shaswat Deo
The global attendance, around 400,000 people, stems from the fact that Tomorrowland brings together some of the biggest names in the music industry (think The Chainsmokers, Armin Van Buuren, Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, Martin Garrix, and etc.) performing across 16 stages.
If you are planning a trip to Tomorrowland, here’s all you need to know. The festival takes place in Boom, Belgium. There are two ways you could travel to the festival grounds. Firstly, you could book the Global Journey package, which takes care of both your travel and the festival pass. The other way is to fly to Brussels from Belgium and then opt for the shuttle services to Dreamville, Boom.
The majority of festivalgoers stay in Dreamville itself. This campsite provides all the amenities one could require and gives an all-in-all inimitable experience by putting you up with fellow music enthusiasts. There are a lot of packages available depending on the kind of luxury stay you want to go for.
Global Journey Packages by Tomorrowland includes air tickets from Delhi and Mumbai plus the festival passes:
1. Festival pass in the most luxurious accommodation is INR 2,30,000 + overhead.
2. Festival pass without any stay + local travel + accommodation in Brussels is INR 1,27,000 + overhead.
3. Festival pass in to stay in the least expensive tents is INR 1,36,000 + overhead.
If you’re in the mood to really splurge and get the party started (before it even begins), Brussels Airlines has collaborated to bring a specially branded plane, just for Tomorrowland. Included onboard are branded goodie bags and even your own DJ for the duration of the flight.
While tickets for the 2019 edition may have all sold out now, it’s never too early to start saving for the next Tomorrowland festival.
