Rohini Iyer

The woman behind many a filmy success story, Rohini Iyer is a force to reckon with in Bollywood. The 36-year old founder of Raindrop Group of Companies started out as a journalist at 17, and serendipitously donned the publicist hat for Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na at 21. The film’s success led to the formation of Raindrop Media, her reputation management company, in the following years. Fifteen years on, Iyer takes immense pride in the life she has created for herself—and her clientele, which includes the crème de la crème of the Indian film industry. To escape the madness of B-town, she resorts to extravagant travels. “Paris is my go-to place,” she confesses. Her desk is populated with books like Sun Tzu for Women: The Art of War For Winning In Business, and her closet is filled with the biggest designer brands. “I am a spoilt brat, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

“Travelling is the biggest luxury there is. And I make sure I make the most of it.”
