Remote working is the new travel trend on the block, all thanks to 5G, video conferencing and apps that allow you to work from any part of the world. By Ritika Dixit

With the rise of the ‘digital nomad community’, the days of only a lucky few getting to travel the world and working simultaneously are long gone. More and more companies are encouraging the practice of work-from-home. Not only portable devices but the availability of multiple digital platforms help the younger generation to be anywhere in the world yet stay connected with work at all times.

Have a trip planned way in advance but a pressing deadline hovering over your days of vacation? Don’t you worry! ‘Working holidays’ are the new hip in travel. With your choice of portable device and a decent WiFi connection, there is no deadline that can’t be met. Just work on selected days while on vacation or work for a week or two before indulging in your gala time. Depending on the day, choose how much times you wish to put in to work. Choose whether you wish to spend the morning hours glued to your laptop or sip on a cocktail on the beach late in the night while answering your mails. The trend of remote working leaves you with bountiful choices.
