One of the liveliest events is the Pushkar Camel Fair held between November 15 – 23.

Held each November at the time of Kartik Purnima or full moon, Pushkar Camel Fair is a spectacle on an epic scale, attracting thousands of cattle like camels and horses, and over 400,000 people over a period of 14 days.

Pushkar Mela is an annual event, one of the largest camel festivals in the world.
