One of Germany’s largest and most awaited annual festivals, Oktoberfest 2018 is back in Munich, and drawing crowds from across Europe and the world. If you’re a fan of beer, here’s a list of the most unique beers you’ll get here now. By Nitya Malik

1. Augustiner

Made from the noblest raw materials, this fresh and strong beer is testimony to the art of Bavarian brewing.

2.  Hacker-Pschorr

The secret of this smooth, aromatic and mild beer is that it is 90% water. The beer is made from soft water that is pulled out from the underground wells of Munich.

3. Hofbräu

The beer is made from recipes that were once handed down by the Duke of Bavaria. It is a unique combination of wheat and dark beer.

4. Paulaner

This strong and malty beer is one of Germany’s best beers and is made from only four ingredients: water, malt, hops and yeast. It has a large brewery in Munich which you can take a tour of.

5. Great Lakes

A flavourful craft beer manufacturer, Great Lakes produces orange peel and Belgium chocolate flavoured beers.

6. Spaten

If you’re a fan of light lagers, try Spaten. It offers a nice blend of hops and malt, with a touch of caramel sweetness that is popular for beer newbies.
