ITS OFFICIAL!!🥳 After years of travel, months of planning & mountains of paperwork to prove it- I'm now the Guinness World Record Holder for the Youngest Person to Travel to Every Country!🤩🌍⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's been a crazy week celebrating here in NYC & having the Today Show surprise me with this certificate yesterday was literally a dream come true. I've been spending a lot of time reflecting on what I've taken away from traveling to 196 countries & honestly I feel like I've only just scratched the surface of how much there is to explore! Traveling to all these places around the world taught me that countries aren't as black and white as lines on the map. There's actually this beautiful, interconnected tapestry of cultures, beliefs and landscapes that blend together to create this strange & wonderful world we live in.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's been such an honor & a privilege to experience so much and to share this journey with all of you. I definitely couldn't have done it without the many special people I encountered along the way. I'm feeling grateful for all the lessons learned & I'm SO EXCITED FOR WHAT'S NEXT🥂 go to the link in my bio to subscribe to my brand new YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

Lexie has been working on this achievement ever since she was a child as her romance with travel started at a very young age, thanks to her family owning a travel agency in California. While growing up, her family travelled everywhere from the floating villages of Cambodia to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, from Ushuaia at the tip of Argentina to the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. She was exposed to every way of life around the world from a very young age, which had a profound impact on her personality and shaped her into the person she is today. The curiosity towards other people’s ways of life and their journey to happiness is one of the reasons why Lexie undertook this journey around the world. Without any official sponsors and few brand deals and campaigns, most of Lexie’s travels were self-funded.

What started as an intrepid traveller trying to push her limits and seeing as much of the world as possible ended up being a spectacular achievement, which is an inspiration for people, especially young women. With her feat, Lexie has shown everyone that the world isn’t as scary as the media portrays it to be and that there is kindness everywhere.

This outstanding feat put Lexie three years ahead of the previous official holder of the title, 24-year-old Taylor Demonbreun. As of now, the young traveller is writing a book about her travel experiences and taking some time off to nourish her mental and physical health after achieving this massive life goal.
