RANKING AT NUMBER 1 for the third year in a row, Bangkok’s favourite progressive Indian cuisine restaurant Gaggan comes is under the spotlight. Chef Gaggan Anand draws inspiration from India’s diverse regional cuisines and street food, giving it a modern twist using science and modern technology.

RANKING AT NUMBER 30, Chef Manish Mehrotra’s Indian Accent in New Delhi took the city by storm in 2009 when he brought his contemporary culinary techniques to The Manor, New Delhi. Very soon, the city started talking about his Quinoa Biriyani and Poha that resembled pizza slices. The chef has won tremendous acclaim since and been featured in numberous publications.

RANKING AT NUMBER 46, Wasabi by Morimoto is not helmed by an Indian chef, but we can’t get over the fact that the expertise is being rolled out in a kitchen in our very own Mumbai. It offers authentic Japanese delicacies backed by Iron Chef Morimoto. All ingredients are flown in specially form Japan, which explains the overbooked guest list and expensive menu. Enjoy signature dishes like white fish carpaccio, black cod miso, and wasabi cremebrulee.
