1. Vaduz Castle

Built in the 12th century, this castle along with its original 12-foot thick walls are part of the foundation. Although the castle is not open to the public, you could still walk around the grounds and get some interesting pictures clicked. What’s open to the public is the Wine cellar of the Prince of Liechtenstein, the head of the country where you would get an opportunity to tour the wine cellar and get to know the wines His Highness prefers.

2. The Old Rhine Bridge

The bridge that connects Liechtenstein to Switzerland is the only wooden bridge in this country. Built in the late 1800s, the bridge does not accommodate vehicles but you could always ride a bicycle here and enjoy the view of two countries together, which connects via the Rhine river. The bridge is built over this river and acts as a popular tourist destination.

3. Städtle

It’s the beautiful pedestrian street, located in the city center of Vaduz. Here you will find an array of shops, local cafes, museums and government buildings. There are numerous modern art sculptures throughout the street along with spectacular buildings. Wandering along the Städtle also offers you with an opportunity to mail postcards with the rare Liechtenstein postage stamp.

4. Treasure Chamber

You can’t afford to miss out on this museum. Treasure Chamber of Principality of Liechtenstein focuses on displaying the Princes’ belongings of this European nation. There are various exhibitions that take place all year long, which gives you an opportunity to witness the work of art made using historic weapons and precious materials.

5. Liechtensteiner Brauhaus

In 2007, the country opened its first microbrewery, which is now famous worldwide for its exceptional taste and wide range of beers to choose from. Variety of beers from this brewery have also won international recognition for its malty and unique taste. This is surely the brewery you want to visit if you’re planning to travel to Europe any time soon.
