While the world waits for the pandemic to pass, Switzerland Tourism is trying every bit to bring hope in the hearts of people and encourage travellers to keep dreaming of travel through stunning backdrops from the various parts of the country compiled in a short but beautiful video! Eyes glued to screens, reckless searching through updated news feeds, and a strong sense of anxiety and helplessness hovering over minds—these are not normal times. The pandemic has forced us to lock our doors from inside, and the global travel bans and lock-downs have only added to the growing despair. Understanding the fact that we need good vibes and positivity now more than ever, Switzerland Tourism is sending across a strong message—to keep dreaming.
In order to keep the hope of good times afloat, Switzerland Tourism has launched a new campaign—#DreamNowTravelLater. Revolving around short, touching video, the campaign tells travellers around the world that while we all wait for this to end at our homes, the beautiful country, too, waits patiently for us to go back. It assures that the time has paused for good in Switzerland and things will remain just as—all ready to welcome back the guests when the pandemic is finally behind us. It, hence, requests us all to stay home and stay safe but also to keep our travel dreams fresh and alive.
Watch stunning backdrops with majestic Swiss Alps, gorgeous alpine villages, and pristine lakes in the video. With the same spirit, authorities of the mountain resort of Zermatt are projecting flags of different countries along with messages of hope and unity (as designed by artist Gerry Hofstetter) on the majestic Matterhorn Peak. It is a way of showing solidarity with the people of different nations which are currently dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak and saying that we are all in this together.
