The Broadway spectacle is currently on a hiatus, but it is here to enchant children by introducing them to the world of theatre. That too through the lens of a classic and from the safety of their homes. The curriculum includes multiple lessons and worksheets along with online videos and resources. It covers a wide range of topics encompassing production such as original music, directing, playwriting, and designing among others.

The sessions are introduced and narrated by the stars of the Broadway musical Jelani Remy and Syndee Winters. The classes are planned in two sets–first is for ‘Kids‘ between the ages of 8 to 11, while the ‘Junior’ sessions are for children in the age group of 12 to 15.

The kids will be able to track their progress as they work their way through the curriculum, which, in the end, requires them to share a complete mini-production with everyone in their home. They will even get to celebrate all their hard work after the performance with a certificate to honour the achievement.

Disney has been lending a helping hand through the crisis with initiatives like this to help us all stay motivated and inspired. This is your chance to see kids in your home explore their creative side with this hands-on virtual experience, which is sure to keep them engaged for a long time.
