From an aficionado of craft and literature to a quintessential foodie, the events lined up in Delhi for December 2019 will suit and satisfy all your tastes and preferences. By Ritika Dixit

1. India Craft Week, December 4-6

The event to be held at GMR Aerocity will provide the lovers of hand-made, handicraft and handloom with the opportunity to explore sustainable and ethical handcraft products. One can also sway to the tunes of folk dance and music at the event. The highlights of the event are the Symposium for sharing ideas and some exclusive craft workshops for the visitors.

2. Dreamhack Delhi 2019, December 6-8

This gaming lifestyle festival focusses on everything digital — the internet, entertainment and culture. Scheduled to commence on December 6 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla, the 72-hours-long event will feature DreamHack Invitational tournaments, a retro zone for the old-school gamers, a gaming expo to catch up on the latest innovations in gaming. The 400+ seater will allow participants with their computers and consoles. Other activities at the event will include the gaming cosplay competition, music and comedy.

3. 6th Jashn-E-Rekhta, December 13-15

This event held annually at the Major Dhyan Chand National stadium is a celebration of the Hindustani language, literature and cultural heritage. The event features renowned artistes performing ghazals and qawwalis, poetry recitations, panel discussions, Sufi renditions and dastangoi. The Rekhta bazaar offers a variety of merchandise, artefacts and books for the bibliophiles. The ‘Aiwan-i-Zaiqa’ at the festival offers a variety of Indian cuisines too.

4. Pet Fed 2019, December 28-29

The sixth edition of this annual event is scheduled to be held at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla. The event will be a treat as it offers two days of unlimited fun and quality time shared between you and your pet. The event will offer dedicated play zones for dogs and cats, an international cat show, a police dog show and more than 100 stalls from across the globe for the needs of your little furry friend. Other highlights of the Pet Fed 2019 include a fashion show with Dino Morea, an exclusive agility ring and adoption camps to encourage the practice of pet adoption amongst pet lovers.

5. 11th National Street Food Festival, December 25-29
