Coming 2020, Pennsylvania is all set to take you back to the 90s with its Cartoon Network themed hotel, based on shows straight from our childhood. By Shrimayee Thakur

For fans who grew up watching The Flintstones, Dexter’s Laboratory, Scooby-Doo, Powerpuff Girls and the like, the upcoming Cartoon Network Hotel is Pennsylvania is a dream come true. Now you can spend your time reacquainting yourself with your childhood heroes, from the comfort of a hotel that has rooms themed after them!

The hotel will have themed rooms based on six shows, namely, The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Steven Universe and We Bare Bears. Guests will get to choose their favourite theme and the staff will accordingly add the matching merchandise to their room. The hotel also has four suites, with themes from Adventure Time, Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls and Steven Universe to choose from.

The hotel property stretching over nine acres of land will have 165 rooms, an indoor pool, an outdoor water park, a play area with interactive games, a game room, a Cartoon Network souvenir store, and a café, to mention a few. Cartoon Network will also screen exclusive, never before seen episodes of the beloved shows on a giant outdoor screen. Bookings are scheduled to start from June 2020.

The hotel will also offer to host birthday parties for its young visitors, with birthday packages including a themed cake or cupcakes, party favours for each guest, and a special surprise for the birthday girl or boy.

As per reports, Palace Entertainment CEO, Rolf Paeger has said that the Cartoon Network hotel will be different from other hotels in the region. Its unique theme will allow for an interactive, enchanting experience both for children as well as adults.

The Cartoon Network Hotel will also be collaborating with the Dutch Wonderland, which is right next to it, to offer its guests exclusive ride discounts and special admissions to the park.
