Boutique Hotels In Rajasthan

As per a tweet by ANI, the Government of Rajasthan recently issued a set of guidelines detailing the various measures one needs to take before embarking on an inter-state trip to this state. Those coming in by domestic flights, trains, or buses will be required to mandatorily undergo screening upon arrival, whereas those coming by road will have to show their personal IDs as well. With a fairly simple procedure of entering the state, we tell you some boutique properties you can unwind at for your rebound travels to this vibrant land of royals.

Touted as the city’s first boutique hotel, RAAS Jodhpur fuses modernity with the old-world charm of Rajasthan. Comprising of four buildings adorning intricate architectural carvings – typical to the state – the red sandstone structures here unite with contemporary designs. While each room here overlooks the 15th-century fort — Mehrangarh — the hotel itself echoes Rajput aesthetic that can be found in many elements in the building.

To break away from the lockdown, being in the lap of nature is ideal. This is where Alwar’s Amanbagh excels. Doubling as a peaceful sanctuary in a lush green oasis, the standalone pavilions here lookout to the ancient Aravalli hills. Once used by the Maharaja of Alwar as the staging area for royal tiger hunts, this Mughal-inspired resort has now transformed into the peaceful abode of palm, fruit and eucalyptus trees. While here, unwind in your own private pools while getting lost in the tranquil, ever-present bird calls.
