As per a release by the Government of Goa, the beach-state has reopened its borders to welcome tourists once again, starting July 2. According to this newly released set of guidelines, tourists must have a valid hotel pre-booking before entering the state and must submit a self-declaration form. Quarantine, as per the release, may or may not be applicable. If the tourist is carrying a negative COVID-19 test report not more than 48 hours old, then quarantine upon arrival will not be required. However, if the tourist has not gotten tested beforehand, then a self-paid COVID-19 test must be done upon arrival and quarantining will be mandatory until the results arrive. In the latter scenario, a swab test will also be taken upon arrival. However, the guidelines also state all tourists would be required to undergo a mandatory thermal screening and document verification.

With all documents in place, dates blocked, tickets booked, here are some boutique properties you can consider staying at for your next Goan holiday!
