Alia Bhatt posted an IGTV on her Instagram feed on the occasion of Earth Day 2020, during the lockdown. The actor wrote and recited a poem titled Today and Everyday for her followers. In the poem, the actor appreciates all the things about nature and says she is thankful and grateful for each of those things.

The 27-year-old actor’s poem emphasised on the role nature plays in all our lives. The actor also added a few words thanking the frontliners who are helping fight COVID-19. The actor who was last seen playing a cameo in Angrezi Medium has a string of movies in production, that are currently halted due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

While most of us are staying indoors to #flattenthecurve, there is no doubt that this move has directly allowed for nature to replenish herself and heal from the destruction caused by mankind. With most of humanity staying indoors these days, nature including animals are all able to thrive and roam freely without human interference.

We can only hope that once the Coronavirus pandemic is in the rearview, we as a whole continue to be respectful towards our nature and wildlife and learn to co-exist on Earth. Like they say “there is no planet B” and it is up to us to take care of our planet.
