Times may be tough right now, but doctors have been at the tougher end of the stick. Having to forego months of sleep serving the nation and helping better the situation is no easy feat, yet medical practitioners have been trudging along without showing signs of stopping. In today’s dark times, it is our medical personnel who are heroes in every sense of the word.

To honour these selfless deeds of the country’s doctors, AirAsia has introduced a RedPass for our heroes to embark on a goodwill trip across all domestic routes. Reserved exclusively for our medical staff, the pass allows any medical practitioner registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any state medical council to travel free of cost (exclusive of taxes) according to the airline’s website. Further, the release also states that the airline has reserved 50,000 seats for this.

As per the website, to avail this offer, doctors simply have to fill in their details in a form on the airline’s website, clearly stating their MCI registered ID card or state medical council registered ID card details to prevent fraud. This offer, although available for a two-week window between June 1, 2020, to June 12, 2020, allows the medical practitioners to avail the one-way domestic ticket anytime from July 1 to September 30.
