For frequent travellers, Singapore is like the staycation that’s not exactly a staycation. It’s a great don’t-have-to-plan-ahead destination, there’s no pressure to do mega sight-seeing, since you’ve probably been there already a dozen times; it offers fantastic hotels, great Asian wellness packages, and brilliant dining. This season, with Chinese New Year just around the corner, there are some great offers. Fly to Singapore for a weekend and get pampered at Mandarin Oriental Singapore that has introduced a new spa package. If you’re visiting the Little Red Dot on business, you can schedule your spa time after work—they are open till 11pm.

What’s On The Menu?

Their spa menu offers a range of holistic treatments from around the world and designed to bring balance and equilibrium in the body. There are six spa suites that offer a luxurious space in which you can enjoy your treatment in complete privacy. Two of the suits are designed specifically for couples. There are restorative and refreshing facial treatments, relaxing foot and back treatments. Loyalists vouch for their ‘soul and eye’ and jet lag treatments that help ease tensed muscles, reduce travel fatigue, recover from long-distance travel and adjust to a new environment. The Remedy Eye Treatment uses specialised massage techniques and herbal extracts of black tea, cranberry and strawberry to improve micro-circulation and drainage and reduce puffiness in the eye area. Dark circles and fine lines are reduced, while a gentle shoulder-scalp massage boosts circulation.
